Why Apex calls us

Humid summers, clay-soil movement, and aging slabs.

Apex is its own concrete environment. Long humid summers push moisture up through the slab, red Piedmont clay shifts and heaves under the foundation, and floors run from century-old homes near Salem Street to brand-new builds off US-64. Standard coatings yellow, chalk, and peel in a few years; what we install holds up across the climate.

Most common Apex projects:

  • Garage floors across Apex and Cary, diamond-ground, slip-rated, and decorative
  • Older garage floors that need crack repair before any coating
  • Warehouse and shop coatings for local businesses (commercial)
  • Finished interior basement, bonus, and storage rooms in older homes
  • Decorative metallic floors in renovated and new-build homes

Diamond-ground prep

Every Raleigh–Durham slab is mechanically diamond-ground, not acid-etched, so the coating actually bonds and stays down.

Most garages in a day

A standard garage is prepped, coated, and topcoated in one day. Back to parking without a week of downtime.

Bonded and insured

Fully bonded with liability coverage. Ask for the certificate before any crew starts.

The Coat Pro Standard

A written commitment on adhesion and finish. If a covered issue shows up, we come back and make it right.

Apex FAQs

Common questions from Apex customers.

Here the challenges are humidity, heat, and moisture moving through the slab. A proper diamond grind lets polyaspartic bond tight and lock that moisture out, so the floor stays put and looks new for years. The key is the topcoat and film thickness, so it won’t cloud, peel, or yellow in the humidity.
Yes – some of our favorite projects. Older slabs need careful prep: assessment of underlying damage, crack repair, sometimes moisture mitigation. We include all of that in the walkthrough and fixed quote.
Yes – we’ve worked with multiple Apex HOA-governed properties. We can provide spec sheets, insurance documentation, and submit to architectural committees as needed.
Polyaspartic resists chlorine, salt-system brine, muriatic acid, and the rest of standard pool chemistry. Drips wipe off without etching. Pool decks at the Cays and along Glorietta Bay we coat with full confidence.
